There’s something special that draws us to our pets. Maybe it’s the quiet purr, the look of trust or the welcome wag of a tail when we return from a long day at work. Whatever the magic, we want you to capture it in our Animal Magnetism Photo Contest.
Enter a photo of your dog, cat, rabbit or parakeet (anything goes). You’ll not only share your pet’s charm with others, you could win valuable prizes.
Are there prizes?
Yes.
1st Place: $250 gift certificate to Rocky’s Ace Hardware in Fairhaven, with a wide variety of pet supplies; a $25 gift card to Mellisa’s Pet Depot in Dartmouth and a $50 gift card for grooming at The Executive Dog in Fairhaven.
2nd Place: $100 gift certificate to Rocky’s Ace Hardware in Fairhaven and a $25 gift card to Mellisa’s Pet Depot in Dartmouth.
3rd Place: $50 gift certificate to Rocky’s Ace Hardware in Fairhaven and a $50 gift card for grooming at The Executive Dog in Fairhaven.
Winners will be selected by popular vote from SouthCoastToday.com readers. You can include multiple pets in the same photo. Only one entry allowed per household. For other details, see our Official Rules Page.
Can I still play if the contest has already started?
Yes. You can submit your pet photo up until September 11 at noon. And you can vote at any time, as long as it is still within the voting period. Voting will take place September 11, 2013 at noon to September 25, 2013 at noon.
Winners will be announced Friday, Sept. 27, 2013.
