It’s that time of year, when the air gets crisper, the leave change colors … and ghouls, goblins, superheroes and villains emerge to stalk neighborhoods in search of candy.
That makes it the perfect time for our Spirit of Halloween photo contest, sponsored by Plimoth Plantation, the Providence Children’s Museum and Dorothy Cox’s Chocolates.
Send us your photo that demonstrates the true spirit of Halloween, whether it be kids dressed for a night of trick-or-treating, homes decorated to look their spookiest, or adults dressed in costumes that show they haven’t forgotten how to have fun on All Hallow’s Eve.
We’ll award multiple prizes.
The entry that gets the most votes online will win 4 free admission tickets to the Providence Children’s Museum
In addition, our judges will select winners in the following categories:
Most Original
Prize: 4 tickets to Plimoth Plantation.
Cutest
Prize: $20 gift card to Dorothy Cox’s Chocolates.
We’ll accept entries until noon on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
Voting will run from noon, Oct. 18 until noon on Wednesday, Oct. 26.
Entries will be accepted online through our contest vendor only. Registration with the vendor, which is free, is required to enter. Users who have entered our previous contests with this vendor will be able to use the same username and password. A paid subscription to SouthCoastToday.com is NOT required.
