Cool Cat Photo Contest Winner

The cat lovers of SouthCoast have spoken. After all pictures were considered and all the votes were counted, Saydee, a Persian from Fairhaven, strutted away with the grand prize in our Cool Cat Photo Contest. As top vote-getter, Saydee and her owner, Jennifer Ptaszenski, win a custom-made gift basket from Mellisa's Pet Depot in Dartmouth (valued at more than $100) and a $25 gift certificate to Oxford Creamery in Dartmouth or Mattapoisett. The Judges’ Choice winner (a $25 gift certificate to Not Your Average Joe's in Dartmouth and a $25 gift certificate to Oxford Creamery in Dartmouth or Mattapoisett) goes to Tim Sousa of New Bedford for his photo of the flying feline aptly named Super Cat. Judges thought long and hard on their decision, and we all wish we had a dozen other prizes to hand out to so many worthy entrants. Indeed, the photos from all participants in the Cool Cat Photo Contest were among the best we’ve seen in a lifetime, or maybe nine lifetimes. Thanks to everyone who participated.

2nd Place-Cool Cat	---	Cool Cat: The cat deemed to be the coolest by our panel of judges will win its owner lunch or dinner at Not Your Average Joe’s in Dartmouth ($25 gift certificate), along with a $25 gift certificate to Oxford Creamery in Dartmouth or Mattapoisett.
